Fun and Informative!

Just wanted to drop a quick Thank You for this podcast. I binge-listened over the last few weeks while planning our trip. Using this shows’ advice, we had an awesome day Rope Dropping Magic Kingdom yesterday hitting more rides before 11am than possibly the rest of the day! Great info from fellow Disney lovers!
Been listening for a couple of weeks now and really enjoying this podcast! I like that neither guy claims to be an expert, but rather guides listeners to make well-informed choices before going to the parks. Many folks don’t realize that a Disney trip takes a lot of pre-planning, and these guys cover every possible scenario you could encounter on a trip. This is truly a *magical* podcast!

Our upcoming Disney World trip is going to be even better, thanks to this podcast. This is an absolute gold mine of info to help you get the most out of your trip. I have planned out each day’s rope drop and lightening lane strategies, which foods to eat, and even what things to skip. These two are a hoot!

Gym Buddies
I came across this PodCast when starting to plan my 3rd (and 4th Disney trip). They have quickly became one of my favorite PodCasters and definitely my favorite Disney one. Listening to them talking about all these Disney while I am at gym, is the push I need to keep going. I love the genuine honesty these Dad provide and that Disney is not always all PixieDust. Listen to them, you won’t regret it. 🏰✨

This is by far my favorite Disney podcast in all the world of Disney podcasts. So relatable, so engaging, and gives me my weekly dose of Disney until I can fly back to Orlando! Great job guys!

Definitely worth your time
Derek and Doug provide great information while also keeping you entertained. Their knowledge and experience is a great tool for anyone planning a Disney vacation. Every week I’m anxious to see what they’ll discuss on the next episode. I was a D&D nerd in high school…..and these two have made me a D&D (Derek & Doug) nerd all over again!

Enjoyable and useful in so many ways
As someone who is pretty skilled at planning a Disney vacation, this podcast is still both extremely valuable and amazingly entertaining. Derek and Doug are fun to listen to, are completely honest and relatable, and give very good advice. I’m fairly new to this show, but I’m glad I found it. Thanks for all the hard work!

Best Disney Podcast
First I would like to start off by saying that I never use Apple Podcasts, I am an avid Spotify user and I am going out of my way to write a review on here, so that should tell you all you need to know. I am going on a big Disney trip during the first two weeks of April this year, doing all 4 parks as well as Universal Studios. I have done extensive research beforehand to make the most out of my trip, which includes listening to multiple Disney podcasts. Rope Drop Radio is by far the best one, and it’s not even close. Not only is it the most informative and best organized podcast for park information, it is also the most entertaining. Derek and Doug are two great conflicting personalities that mesh extremely well together, it’s exactly the dynamic you look for in a pairing of hosts for any medium. Thanks guys for the entertainment and helping to make my Disney trip even more magical. Keep up the great work, it is appreciated by far more people than you know!

Great Show!
I have been going to Disney for years and have been a DVC member since 2019. This show has been helpful to find some things I may have not known about or done. Planning on going in October of 2023 for my next trip. Keep up the great work and if you ever need a guest for the show I’d be happy to share my input on Disney!

Genuine and Useful Podcast
This podcast provides a real look at the Disney parks, the highs and the lows. They give easy to follow tips and advice based on experience. They are inclusive to the first time park goer as well as the annual pass holder. Derek and Doug seem to have a lot of fun recording these podcasts, which in my opinion gives them the edge over any other Disney podcast available.

Can’t get enough
I started listening last year when planning our Spring break trip. Super informative and helpful. I was so prepared for the trip my husband bragged about how it was the best Disney trip we’ve ever had! Since then I can’t stop listening. We love going to the parks and when we don’t have a trip planned, I just listen to Doug and Derek to get my Disney fix. Thanks for a great show!

Feeling Prepared!
Headed to Disney at the end of the month for the first time as an adult (last trip was 98’ at age 8 when animal kingdom was brand new) ! We are taking our two boys age 1 and celebrating our older sons 5th birthday during the trip. I feel so prepared after having listened to this podcast for the last 6ish months. I love the dynamics and show content, it’s definitely my favorite podcast that I have listened to while preparing for this trip! Your shows are great for giving novices basic and also level up insider information thanks to your experience and expertise, I don’t feel like it’s going over my head! 🤞

Practical info to maximize your Disney trip
This wonderful show is half of my Disney podcast one-two punch. Disney Dish is best for history and gossip about park operations, Rope Drop Radio is best for thoughtful, in-depth, on the ground travel advice from two dads with tons of experience.
While I don’t agree with everything they say (I won’t be waking up at 7 AM on vacation under any circumstances), I always love hearing about it. Keep up the great work!
