I was planning my family’s first ever vacation to WDW and was in a panic about Genie+, LL’s, navigating all 4 parks and prioritizing attractions. I found Doug and Derek’s podcast, and I’m so glad I did. I had such a great time listening to the podcasts—laughing while learning. I just came back from my trip, and I completely mastered the rides system with the tips from this podcast. My kids kept talking about how much we “rope dropped” each day. I’m grateful for all of the help! Doug and Derek are A+ genies!

After a crazy busy trip to WDW in February 2023, I knew it was time to do some Disney research and plan another trip. Enter Derek and Doug and Rope Drop radio! Thanks to these guys, I learned all the ropes (get it?!) about rope drop, Genie+, lightning lanes, and nap time! I was so confident that I scheduled a mommy/kids rope drop trip for August and we had the most amazing time! These Disney dads are fun to listen to and funny! I’ve been enjoying the back catalog and joined Patreon to get even more crazy stories. 10/10 recommend!

My husband and I started listening to help plan our first WDW trip in March 2023. This podcast played a huge part in the success of our trip! Derek and Doug showed us the way of the rope drop and we have continued rope dropping after becoming Magic Key holders. Even though we do not have a WDW planned in the future, we continue to listen to relive memories from our trip and to plan for future ones!

I look forward every week to Derek and Doug’s episodes. The banter between the two is fantastic/hysterical!!! Keep up the great work guys!

I listen to a lot of Disney podcasts and this one is by far the most hilarious. Derrick and Doug’s humor is right up my sarcastic alley. Not only do I constantly laugh out loud, but I also learn a lot of new things that help with my trips and keep me in the magic in between trips. The best part is waiting through each show to hear how they will incorporate Pizza Rizzo and/or trumpet squid. Definitely give this show a follow, you won’t regret it!!

I started to listen to this podcast in preparation for my 1st Disney world trip, and figured I’d unsubscribe after the trip, but it’s been 1.5 years and I’m still listening! These guys are fun, funny, relatable, and knowledgeable! I love their approach and I love how their tips, tricks, and advice are for all of us “normal” Disney adults and families! I especially love the lightning round! (Also: my husband is a Disney loving dentist, so that’s fun too!) Thanks Derek and Doug! Have fun reading this in a year!

Love the show! I binged a ton of episodes before our trip in March. Love the honesty of you both. You’re kids are around the same ages as mine, so it was so helpful to hear realistic stories you share. I still continue to listen, helps with the Disney blues!

Really enjoying your podcast as I prepare for a family trip in May. I had to share though that I started listening and looked you guys up on instagram. I totally had your voices switched and didn’t realize it until Dereck added stories from his current Disney trip. It really messed with my head!
