Feeling Prepared!
Headed to Disney at the end of the month for the first time as an adult (last trip was 98’ at age 8 when animal kingdom was brand new) ! We are taking our two boys age 1 and celebrating our older sons 5th birthday during the trip. I feel so prepared after having listened to this podcast for the last 6ish months. I love the dynamics and show content, it’s definitely my favorite podcast that I have listened to while preparing for this trip! Your shows are great for giving novices basic and also level up insider information thanks to your experience and expertise, I don’t feel like it’s going over my head! 🤞

Practical info to maximize your Disney trip
This wonderful show is half of my Disney podcast one-two punch. Disney Dish is best for history and gossip about park operations, Rope Drop Radio is best for thoughtful, in-depth, on the ground travel advice from two dads with tons of experience.
While I don’t agree with everything they say (I won’t be waking up at 7 AM on vacation under any circumstances), I always love hearing about it. Keep up the great work!

Disney Dads are Hot
In case you weren’t aware, Disney Dads are hot. I should know as I’ve been married to one for over 25 years. With this show you get not just one, but two hilariously hot Disney Dads who dish about all the Disney parks. I love that they know both Dland and WDW and that they have strong opinions about all the attractions, food, and resorts. I’m loving being a new listener because I have so many episodes to catch up on! Keep it up, HDDs!

RDR 4 Life
I have gotten to know both Derek and Doug since I found the podcast at the end of 2022 and have not stopped listening since then. Both of the guys are full of knowledge and the podcast is fun and easy to listen to at work. I really like the spin of podcast about cruises also especially since DCL cruising is my jam. Keep up the amazing work and I hope to see you all in the park or open seas in 2023.

So Much Good Info for a First Time WDWer!!!
This podcast came highly recommended by my good friend who is an extreme-WDWer, and I can see why! I’m planning my family of 5’s first-ever WDW trip and I can already tell listening to this podcast (and booking with a Disney travel agent) will make this an AMAZING trip as opposed to the disappointing disaster it would have been without them.

These guys experience the park, same way we do
I’ve listened to dozens of Disney podcasts, and most of them are people who live in Florida. They pop in for an hour or two to generate some content for their podcast and then pop back out.
But that isn’t the way most people experience the parks! These two on the other hand, go for vacations like the rest of us and so have a perspective that’s more aligned with how you and I experience a Disney park.

My Favorite Podcast ( Including True Crime!)
This podcast is like hanging out with your two best Disney buds discussing your favorite topics! Derek and Doug are not only very informative, they also have a fun, easy chemistry that makes this podcast fun to listen to and I often find myself wanting to jump into their conversations! They are by far my favorite podcast and I very much look forward to each new episode. I highly encourage you give them a try, you’ll be glad you did😁 Thank guys!!

Life saving podcast!!
I am taking my honeymoon in January and for some reason was dead set on going to the rain forest cafe for dinner on our animal kingdom day. Listening to you guys made me do some more research and find some place better. So thank you for your honesty.

Best Conversationalist Hosts!
So I’m sure some of you are like me and listened to lots of Disney podcasts without having a trip planned. It’s just nice to hear about Disney fun and dream of the next trip. These guys have the best conversations surrounding Disney. They make you feel like your friends are just sitting on the couch chatting with you about Disney. Some of the podcasts out there are super annoying to listen to as their hosts put on a fake presenter voice for some reason and it just does not work! It’s like, let’s be real people and just talk.

I am Guilty of Not Leaving a 5 Star Review Sooner
I’m coming clean… I have listened to this podcast for almost a year while planning our families first trip to Disney. Even though it contains two charming and talented hosts, oodles of useful information, and fresh content every episode, I was one of those listeners who didn’t spend a few minutes leaving a review! How could I!? Don’t be me! Leave a review already!
Needless to say, this is one of the best Disney podcasts out there and I am grateful for everything I’ve learned while listening to it and feel as prepared as I’m going to get for our trip in a few weeks as a result. Thanks guys!

A Disney Podcast with people that are real
It is nice to listen to 2 people that have a love for Disney but are down to earth and real! The information they give is wonderful and it is helpful. It is nice also to be able to listen to people that can give different perspectives and ideas for a wonderful trip. Listen to this to help make your next trip a wonderful experience with some of the tips, strategies, and suggestions they provide.

Fun and informative!
I’ve listened to my fair share of Disney podcasts over the past year, but only recently found Rope Drop Radio. I had been missing out for sure and am now powering through past episodes. These guys are fun, know their WDW stuff - and they are fellow Nebraskans, which makes them even cooler. A must-subscribe if you are planning a trip or just need to get your Disney World fix.
