I have been listening to Derek & Doug for a few years now. I appreciate their knowledge and advice when it comes to Disney travel along with the humor they bring to each episode. Easily in my top 3 for Disney podcasts.

The best!
Hands down my favorite Disney podcast. The guys are so very knowledgeable and break difficult topics (Genie+ yikes!) down to make it incredibly easy to understand. We took our 8 yr old for the first time last April and can’t wait to go back!! Thanks for making our trip easy, guys!

A fun informative podcast
Started listening when planning a trip to Disney World, now listen because it leaves me with a smile on my face. Fun, entertaining and informative- a great podcast, even when Disney World is not in your travel plans.

Full disclosure, 5 star and want to be read
As I sit in this dimly lit room, tied to a chair, wondering what they will do to me, as I’ve been threatened with churro beatings…and not the good Disneyland ones…I have a prepared statement to read…
Doug and Derek are not only the smartest and handsomest podcasters in the space, they are also the most knowledgeable Disney experts the likes of which Disney executives reach out to them for input. Chapek was fired for not taking their advice and heading their wisdom. Don’t be like Chapek, listen to the show, learn from the show, live the teachings of the show. I am being treated very well, and been fed a diet of dole whip and Mickey shaped foods while “under the care” of Doug and Derek. Besides their wisdom, ruggedly good looks, and upstanding citizenship, they are also humanitarians the likes of which the UN should consult…like Chapek should’ve done.
Joking aside, yes that was a joke, great show, love how it’s very informative and down to earth. Feel like I’m hanging out with friends while listening.
Again, not a joke, thank you both for a great show and all you do.

Want an honest view of what it’s like to do Disney with your kids before you book? Listen to these guys & they’ll give you the highs & lows so that you have realistic expectations of just how much “magic” you get to experience as mom & dad…& they also convinced me to book a trip 😂 Enjoy!

Rope Drop Domination!
Thank you so much Derek and Doug for your fantastic insights, and all around park strategies! I took my family the week before Thanksgiving, and we used every one of your tips and tricks during our trip including using the best bathrooms! We were able to CRUSH rope drop at every park! From one dad to you two, you guys are the best!!

Saved Us So Much Time!!
Doug and Derek provided so many valuable nuggets to help us save time and money on our recent Disney trip. A good example was the Tron queue. Cast member when we checked in said we were looking at an hour wait. Thanks to Doug and Derek’s recommendation to bring nothing and by pass the lockers, we were on the ride in 16 minutes. We had many examples of that gauge on our trip. I have continued to listen to RDR even though we are now home, as I know we will do another Disney trip again and listening to them helps beat the vacation blues. Thanks Doug and Derek!

New favorite Disney podcast!
I’ve probably listened to 10 different Disney podcasts over the last few months to help plan my upcoming trip taking my kids for the first time. This has been my favorite podcast to listen to by far and now the only one that I’m listening to! I especially love the TPS report episodes - keep them coming (ideally before January 2024!!).

The Dad Dudes that know how to do Disney
Give this one a listen! I’ve been listening for more than a year and I was unsure whether listening to two dudes discussing Disney would be appealing, especially since I have never Rope Dropped. Yes, I admitted it. I. Have. Never. Rope. Dropped. I’m still not sure that I can commit to doing a rope drop ever because I am a night person. If you are in the same boat, don’t let that dissuade you. Doug and Derek actually have great information that you can still benefit from. Look for the episode on reverse rope dropping., in particular They are fun and hilarious! They have great guests. Don’t miss this one! And who knows?! Maybe one day I will actually see the sunrise at a Disney park.

These guys are awesome! Their tips kept me from rope dropping Swiss family Robinson again and allowed me to impress my wife with my Space Ranger skills. Now on to find the trumpet squid!

Wife Approved
I listen to many Disney Podcast shows and until I found and started to listen to Derek and Doug, my wife found it unbearable to listen along with me. She can tolerate some shows, but she absolutely loves to listen to RDR with me. She actually laughs with you guys instead of at the other hosts. Thank you to both of you so now I get my Disney fix while we drive. Keep up the good work.

WDW right here in RI
I stumbled upon this podcast while planning. Our last family trip in 2021. I have religiously followed it since. I love that politics are kept out, and fun and banter are always present.
As an adult, who loves Disney, it is fantastic to relate to the content, and shake my head in agreement on my long walks that rope drop radio fills!
I am now getting ready to travel with my husband (alone) in six weeks and planning a trip with my mom and my sister for May- rope drop radio will help me with my planning for both as well as providing me excitement and anticipation.

The Best Disney Parks Podcast Period
Derek and Doug are two of the most entertaining Disney parks podcasters out there. I’ve been listening for years and their humor, chemistry and positive energy keep me coming back. They have great tips and aren’t afraid to tell it like it is. Keep up the great work!! #trumpetsquid4life
