Derek and Doug provide great information while also keeping you entertained. Their knowledge and experience is a great tool for anyone planning a Disney vacation. Every week I’m anxious to see what they’ll discuss on the next episode. I was a D&D nerd in high school…..and these two have made me a D&D (Derek & Doug) nerd all over again!

Hilarious and informative. It really doesn’t get much better.

As someone who is pretty skilled at planning a Disney vacation, this podcast is still both extremely valuable and amazingly entertaining. Derek and Doug are fun to listen to, are completely honest and relatable, and give very good advice. I’m fairly new to this show, but I’m glad I found it. Thanks for all the hard work!

First I would like to start off by saying that I never use Apple Podcasts, I am an avid Spotify user and I am going out of my way to write a review on here, so that should tell you all you need to know. I am going on a big Disney trip during the first two weeks of April this year, doing all 4 parks as well as Universal Studios. I have done extensive research beforehand to make the most out of my trip, which includes listening to multiple Disney podcasts. Rope Drop Radio is by far the best one, and it’s not even close. Not only is it the most informative and best organized podcast for park information, it is also the most entertaining. Derek and Doug are two great conflicting personalities that mesh extremely well together, it’s exactly the dynamic you look for in a pairing of hosts for any medium. Thanks guys for the entertainment and helping to make my Disney trip even more magical. Keep up the great work, it is appreciated by far more people than you know!

I have been going to Disney for years and have been a DVC member since 2019. This show has been helpful to find some things I may have not known about or done. Planning on going in October of 2023 for my next trip. Keep up the great work and if you ever need a guest for the show I’d be happy to share my input on Disney!

This podcast provides a real look at the Disney parks, the highs and the lows. They give easy to follow tips and advice based on experience. They are inclusive to the first time park goer as well as the annual pass holder. Derek and Doug seem to have a lot of fun recording these podcasts, which in my opinion gives them the edge over any other Disney podcast available.

I started listening last year when planning our Spring break trip. Super informative and helpful. I was so prepared for the trip my husband bragged about how it was the best Disney trip we’ve ever had! Since then I can’t stop listening. We love going to the parks and when we don’t have a trip planned, I just listen to Doug and Derek to get my Disney fix. Thanks for a great show!

These guys make me relieved to know that I am not the only Disney fan obsessed with park layout and rope dropping. Very informative show.

Headed to Disney at the end of the month for the first time as an adult (last trip was 98’ at age 8 when animal kingdom was brand new) ! We are taking our two boys age 1 and celebrating our older sons 5th birthday during the trip. I feel so prepared after having listened to this podcast for the last 6ish months. I love the dynamics and show content, it’s definitely my favorite podcast that I have listened to while preparing for this trip! Your shows are great for giving novices basic and also level up insider information thanks to your experience and expertise, I don’t feel like it’s going over my head! 🤞

This wonderful show is half of my Disney podcast one-two punch. Disney Dish is best for history and gossip about park operations, Rope Drop Radio is best for thoughtful, in-depth, on the ground travel advice from two dads with tons of experience.While I don’t agree with everything they say (I won’t be waking up at 7 AM on vacation under any circumstances), I always love hearing about it. Keep up the great work!

In case you weren’t aware, Disney Dads are hot. I should know as I’ve been married to one for over 25 years. With this show you get not just one, but two hilariously hot Disney Dads who dish about all the Disney parks. I love that they know both Dland and WDW and that they have strong opinions about all the attractions, food, and resorts. I’m loving being a new listener because I have so many episodes to catch up on! Keep it up, HDDs!

I have gotten to know both Derek and Doug since I found the podcast at the end of 2022 and have not stopped listening since then. Both of the guys are full of knowledge and the podcast is fun and easy to listen to at work. I really like the spin of podcast about cruises also especially since DCL cruising is my jam. Keep up the amazing work and I hope to see you all in the park or open seas in 2023.

This podcast came highly recommended by my good friend who is an extreme-WDWer, and I can see why! I’m planning my family of 5’s first-ever WDW trip and I can already tell listening to this podcast (and booking with a Disney travel agent) will make this an AMAZING trip as opposed to the disappointing disaster it would have been without them.

I started planning a WDW trip a few months ago knowing nothing. After listening to these two entertaining gents, I feel ready to take on the parks. Thank you for your humor, your joy, and your down to earth and honest approach to all things Disney!

I’ve listened to dozens of Disney podcasts, and most of them are people who live in Florida. They pop in for an hour or two to generate some content for their podcast and then pop back out. But that isn’t the way most people experience the parks! These two on the other hand, go for vacations like the rest of us and so have a perspective that’s more aligned with how you and I experience a Disney park.

This podcast is like hanging out with your two best Disney buds discussing your favorite topics! Derek and Doug are not only very informative, they also have a fun, easy chemistry that makes this podcast fun to listen to and I often find myself wanting to jump into their conversations! They are by far my favorite podcast and I very much look forward to each new episode. I highly encourage you give them a try, you’ll be glad you did😁 Thank guys!!
