Superman Wears Rope Drop Radio Pajamas

Start for the Education, Stay for the Camaraderie
Newly planning our first family of 4 WDW trip, I had much to learn since my Kindergarten days at the 15th Anniversary celebration. This podcast is fun and focused with oodles of real life experience to help those who want to maximize their trip experience. Doug & Derek helped me believe in the magic of rope dropping, as well as the calorie-free extra icing at Gaston's. I will be staying tuned in for more how-to info from their vacation adventures.

Still Love this podcast!

Put these guys in the Hall of Presidents
Derek and Doug have my vote for the leaders of the free world, as long as that world is one where I freely roam around Walt Disney World finding the best attractions, restaurants, and other experiences based on sage advice from these guys. They will masterfully debate the most polarizing park issues while showing how in touch they are with the people by complaining about price hikes and Genie Plus. They do it, though, with the greatest appreciation for the foundations of The Most Magical Place On Earth and it’s countless contributions to their lives and the lives of others. I’ll wait in the Standby lane of life to see their names on the next presidential ticket. (Plus, if they run I think they might show their tax returns so I can learn how they afford all these Disney trips.) Thanks for the great show, gentlemen. You are true American heroes.

Must-listen to prepareFor a Disney trip.
It’s not an exaggeration to say these gentlemen were the reason my family’s trip to Disney was a success. I grew up going to Disney numerous times. I remember the joy of being a kid in Disney, but I also went at an age when I was old enough to realize how stressful it could be for my parents. I did NOT grow up to be a patient person, so when my wife planned a trip to WDW, I was so nervous that my lack of patience combined with big holiday crowds would make me insufferable for my wife and small children. About a month before our trip, my wife tasked me with figuring out what rides we would do when, and how to work Genie Plus. I tried a couple of other resources before finding Derek and Doug and RDR was what finally made it click! When we told our travel agent what attractions we did each day, she was shocked at how much we were able to get done. I started the vacation planning process scared to death I would ruin this trip, and wound up having our family’s best vacation. I hope to have our next trip booked before this review gets read on the pod. Thanks a million to the RDR fellas!

Great Disney podcast that is entertaining, informative, and really funny
This show is not just a great resource if you are planning a trip to Disney, it is also an entertaining podcast. The hosts are very funny. I am often laughing out loud at some of their comments and stories. I look forward to every new episode. It is worth your time to listen even if you are not planning a trip. Keep up the great work!

Packed with helpful tips!
I’ve been an avid listener for the past 6 months while preparing for our upcoming Disney trip. I appreciate all the helpful insights I get, especially as a parent of both younger kids and teenagers. I never took the time to write a review until today, when I listened to the episode of Doug after riding Tron. I, too, suffer from motion sickness, so I understand his plight, but I honestly couldn’t stop laughing. Thanks for taking one for the team so we could all hear your honest review!

Dynamic Duo
I am new to Disney podcasts and Rope Drop Radio is the best part of my morning! I literally laugh all the way to work. Disney has changed so much since my last visit so I’m learning from D-Squared! I just might have to break up with Universal now…

Fantastic Show

Still listening every week!
I started listening early 2022 to prepare for our first Disney trip. Derek and Doug helped me knock it out if the park! I love their humor and their subject matter never gets tired. The only Disney podcast that I continue to listen to after our trip. There are lots of options out there- when it comes to Disney these guys are the best

Insider Baseball for Disney fans and vacation planners
D & D are the best, they have first hand experience and expertise to share on each topic that they discuss. The RDR pods are always entertaining and educational for every Disney fan.
This Podcast is the best.
If you are preparing to drop a bag of cash at the house of mouse… the weekly listens are a must and easy to become a fan.

Rope Drop Like a Pro with Rope Drop Radio!
We went to WDW in October 2022 and leading up to our trip I found this podcast. As a fellow Midwesterner, it was fun to hear these two Disney Dads. They legit know what they’re talking about. Our trip was so successful and this podcast was a huge part of that. I still listen to this podcast post-trip and love when I have a new episode show up on Fridays. With Derek and Doug you’ll be equipped for a great trip to WDW and will be prepared to Rope Drop like a pro!

Fun and informative weekly podcast
I listen to Derek and Doug every week! They are entertaining to listen to but are also super helpful in planning a trip! Their advice on navigating the parks is top notch! Totally recommend this podcast to anyone planning a Disney trip or just anyone who loves Disney like I do!
