Rate ShowPractical and Fun podcast
This may be my favorite Disney Podcast. Doug and Derek are the right amount of informative but fun, a little “Disney dorky” yet relatable. While big Disney lovers, they don’t approach it with a cheesy “all is perfect” attitude as some do. They give you honest and helpful strategy and advice on parks, rides and dining and are willing to share their frustrations as well as the many things they like about Disney World. Plus their back and forth Banter is entertaining and keeps things flowing well.
My only complaint is that I want a rope drop to nap Time shirt before my March trip and it’s currently not available!
We plan to utilize their rope drop tricks and strategy when we take our two young kids to Disney next month.

Must Listen
I have been going to Disney World since the 70’s, I also listen to SEVERAL Disney podcast. This is absolutely one of the best if not the best one out there. No matter how much I think I know I always learn something new when I listen Derek and Doug. This Podcast is for someone planning their first trip to Disney or their 100th trip to Disney. On top of that they are fun to listen to and are the guys I would love to hang out with when visiting WDW.

Favorite podcast for the car
Rope drop radio makes my hour drive every week not so bad! I actually look forward to the trip knowing I get to catch up on what’s going on in the world of Disney. They do a great job at giving Disney advice from a parent’s perspective, which I am new to with an 18 month old. Thanks for always keeping Disney on my mind. Keep up the great work 👍🏼👍🏼

So impressed!
Doug and Derrick put on a great show. With a little bit of humor they give a realistic take on Disney and break down how real people should do Disney. But I was so impressed after listening for a couple weeks - I sent in a question about my upcoming trip and I got a personal answer back. They got my question after recording a “listener question podcast” and took the time to message me back and answer my question. They both have jobs and families and I was so blown away by this! Thanks again

Great listen
Upbeat hosts who give useful tips and different aspects of vacationing at wdw and Disney cruising. A variety of topics and guests keep shows fresh.

Best Disney Podcast!
I have been trying out many different Disney podcasts and this is clearly one of the best! I love their honesty and humor as well as all of the practical advice they provide for the Disney Parks. They make my drive to work truly enjoyable and give me the Disney fix I need between trips.

My Favorite!
Definitely my favorite Disney podcast! I love how relatable they are and love hearing the podcasts that involve tips with children. They help me get excited and organized for my upcoming trip! Keep it up guys!!!

Wonderful World of Rope Drop Radio
I just love Rope Drop Radio! I started listening when I was planning my honeymoon at Disney World. I grew up in California going to Disneyland but WDW is a whole other ball game! Derek and Doug’s tips are invaluable when learning about the intricacies of Disney transportation, dining plans, resorts, fast passes, and all the best Disney eats! This podcast is vital for any Disnerds out there! Put on those mouse ears and have a listen to the wonderful world of Rope Drop Radio!

Every week is magical with RDR!
I love listening to Rope Drop Radio! I visit Disney World frequently, but I still go through Disney withdrawals when I’m not there! Love listening to these guys while im knockin tree work out of the park. Both Derek and Doug are thoughtful and intuitive in whatever they're discussing. Tons of great advice, especially for doing Disney parks with kids! 10 out of 10 podcast.

I'm already feeling the magic!
Found this podcast on a list of best Disney podcasts and I would definitely agree! Doug and Derek are a dynamic duo and I glean new information from every episode. Looking forward to Rope Dropping with my husband and 5 year-old in September and have every detail I'd ever need to know about the parks, our resort (Pop Century) and the best transportation tips and tricks! Great Duo
Love the podcast. Doug and Derek are a great duo and they play off each other well. I haven't listened to all the episodes, but the ones I went back to for specific topics weren't that bad. Even the really early ones. 🤪 I love that you do both parks and cruises; plus you travel with kids and are honest about that whole situation. Can't wait to hear more.

Great Disney Energy and Knowledge
Derek and Doug do a great job delivering Disney advice, stories, and energy in diverse and unique episodes. They should revisit their favorite rides and restaurants by parks though, that would be fun!

Great podcast
This is a really good podcast for anyone interested in Walt Disney World topics. A ton of good information, news and well balanced opinions between the hosts! Definitely a fun and easy listen! Keep up the good work!

Since I booked our trip I’ve become a Disney information junkie. I’ve listened to several Disney podcasts and Rope Drop Radio is my #1. The hosts are funny, easy to listen to, and the information is clear. I know I’ll be prepared for our trip when the time comes thanks to the podcast. Thanks!
