I found this great podcast a few months ago. You can tell that there is a lot of hard work put into the podcast to keep listeners in touch with all things Disney. A tip of the hat to Derek and Doug for a great job.

Rope Drop Radio fans forever!!

Get to 300!
Stole my wife’s phone and noticed she hadn’t written a review for these two guys! WHAT THE WHAT??? Derek and Doug have worked really hard to create a podcast that is informational, fun, and unique for Disney fans. We have listened to them for years, and they bring it week in and week out. Give this podcast a try, because you won’t be disappointed.

Disney and dad jokes
I listen to a lot of Disney podcasts and recently added Rope Drop Radio to the mix. Derek and Doug are a fun dad duo to listen to - lots of great tips for planning a great trip for families.

One of the best Disney podcasts
Derek and Doug know and love Disney. But you can tell that it’s not just the rides or attractions they love - they do the podcast because they just love talking to each other about Disney. Unlike some other Disney podcasts, there’s no pompousness or arrogance, they’re knowledgable but don’t take themselves too seriously and the friendship is real.

Fun show with great hosts
Love this podcast. Derek and Doug talk about all aspects of Disney, from the latest news to travel tips to security and much more. They are fun, engaging, and all-around great guys. Love listening to the new episodes each week. Keep up the good work!

At the top of the Disney game!
I have listened to lots of Disney podcasts and I usually get burned out after a dozen or so episodes. Hosts tend to talk about themselves more than they talk about Disney, or they name-drop, or they turn the podcast into a sales pitch. Rope Drop Radio is the only Disney podcast I never get tired of. Doug and Derek are relaxed, funny, unpretentious, and they know the Disney parks inside out. They share tons of invaluable info, but they don’t take themselves too seriously. If I could change one teeny, tiny thing, it would be their pronunciation of the word “height.” (There’s no “H” on the end; it rhymes with “light”!) Otherwise, this is the perfect Disney podcast and gets better with every episode!

One of the best Disney podcasts out there!
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple years now and it just gets better. Doug and Derek are hysterical and really know what they are talking about. Best part about the podcast is that they are just good people! They’ve personally answered my trip questions a few times and they won my loyalty, which is why I’m now a patron 😀I’m with Derek, though, Mickey pretzel all the way.

Favorite Disney podcast!
This is my favorite Disney podcast by far! If you like to plan your Disney vacation strategically, this podcast is for you! Derek and Doug give a lot of helpful tips, they always have the best up to date info, and they share all about the best rides, food, and how to navigate the parks with low wait times (rope dropping!). They have interesting guests and I love their trip reports. They’re funny too!

Derek and Doug are fun to listen to, very informative of all things Disney, and you can just tell that they genuinely just want to be helpful to other lovers of Disney. This is the place to go for tips and tricks and everything in between! Plus some laughs!

Random Party Of One
Always an informative and entertaining listen, this show balances news topics, interviews, games, trip reports, and planning strategies. Their recent trip report about Disney in the age of COVID has been immeasurably helpful as I plan my trip next week (even though I’ll be a Random Party Of One). Their passion for Disney is evident, and the McKnights are truly wonderful people (haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Derek in person yet). Give them a listen... and thanks for keeping Disney magic in my daily life
