Rate Showyou won’t regret it
when it comes to new disney podcasts that i come across, i can be very picky and it doesn’t take me long to decide if it’s a podcast i’ll listen to. within 5 minutes or so of listening to rope drop i was hooked. down to earth podcasters, info worth noting and the topics never disappoint, i always look forward to new episode dropping, keep up the good work.

Informative and entertaining!
I enjoy listening to Derek and Doug talk about all things Disney and look forward to a new podcast in my feed every week. They are knowledgeable about Disney parks and cruise line and entertaining at the same time. I love the episodes with Michelle too! Funny, but also insightful

Helpful, funny & honest!
Doug and Derek give their honest opinions on the ins and outs of the Disney parks. I find myself laughing and taking notes as I listen and plan my next trip. Their reviews and tips are helpful to new and return Disney travelers. Been a listener since near the beginning and now a Patreon supporter as well. Keep up the great work guys!

Subscribe to this podcast now! It’s hard to find a Disney podcast that is informative and fun but this is definitely one of those! Derek and Doug are entertaining and Informative. I love when Michelle comes on and adds the extra element of information. Whenever the kids join in it’s great as well. Keep up the great episodes !

Entertaining and informative
During my pandemic-induced Disney World planning mania I’ve found this podcast both informative and funny. These two Disney dads are entertaining and intelligent, with just the right amount of self-deprecation.
I must say though, I was inspired to write this review because of a recent lightening round answer. I disagree so much with the idea of Gaston being “misunderstood.” On the contrary, he is the worst villain of any classic Disney movie. The worst villains (in movies and in real life!) are the ones who try to pass themselves off as heroes.
Now Hook.... That’s a villain who embraces his role as the bad guy, who we all can agree to lovingly root against.
Hope you gave yourselves negative points for the Gaston answer (don’t let those cinnamon buns fool you!) and hope you are having a magical vacation.

Fun for the whole family
It would be too bad if Doug didn’t have anything to read. Plus adding another 5 star review will hopefully help someone else find this good humored and informative podcast. (Actually, my wife is typing this but it’s still a great show.)

Loads of Disney Fun!
Love this podcast, very fun & light hearted! Learned so much about the parks, but also about cruising! Makes me excited to keep planning my trips!
My only suggestion is for the podcasts to not exceed 45 mins. As someone who likes to sit (sometimes drive) and listen it is hard to keep myself in one space for an hour or more.

Disney Dads Unite!
Finally a podcast about Disney from a Disney dad perspective. I just found this podcast the other day and have listened to about 15 episodes already. I am so looking forward to my stay at BLT this July, and listening to this show makes me want to go tomorrow. The only thing missing is a happy hour LOL!

Love the Show
New listener since the beginning of the new year! Love the content and discussions. Love some of the guests as well. It’s great to be planning a trip to Disney again and this has been an invaluable resource! Personalities are great, shows have great topics, I can’t say enough good things about what I’ve heard so far. Looking forward to planning my next trip with this podcast and the tools/experiences they recommend.

Rope Drop Radio is a great family podcast! Doug and Derek have such a great sense of humor, even though some of our favorite episodes were when the kids were on the show.
